119 Studio is a culmination of a lifelong love of photography. A 30+ year path down a long and winding road. I grew up in Southeast Michigan. At 15 years old, my parents gifted me my first camera. I have spent my life traveling all over the state of Michigan, capturing its beauty through photography along the way. When my children were young, I started my own photography business, photographing weddings, families, special events and more. My family and I have spent many summers in towns all along Lake Michigan, but ultimately fell in love with Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Good Hart, Cross Village, and our beautiful Tunnel of Trees.
Eight years ago, my husband and I relocated to Northern Michigan. We now live in Harbor Springs with our four dogs. In 2020 I took time to reflect on what I wanted for the next phase of my life. I began teaching myself to paint with watercolor, something I’ve always wanted to learn. Most importantly I reconnected with my passion for photography and so began the journey that is now 119 Studio.
I’m so glad you’re here!
In honor of Cooper Cousino (my family's beloved basset hound, adopted from LTBHS), 119 Studio is partnering with Great Lakes and Paws to bring you an opportunity to help us raise funds for The Little Traverse Bay Humane Society. Stop in to the Studio and pick out some gear for your pooch and maybe even a matching accessory for you! $2 from each purchase will go to The Little Traverse Bay Humane Society. Come in and help us make a difference in the life of a beautiful soul waiting for a family at the LTBHS.
